Call for Abstracts for PIGMENTARYCON’2016

Delegates who are interested to participate actively in the upcoming Pigmentarycon’2016 are cordially invited to submit abstract on the results of their study or research work. Accepted papers will be presented either in award paper, free paper and poster sessions. (subject to the decision taken by the blinded judges and scientific committee, Pigmentarycon’2016). All further communications would be made by email ONLY.

Essential Requirement for Abstract Submission :

1. Must be a registered delegate

2. Letter of affiliation from the Head of the Department for post graduates.

3. Declaration of conflict of interest

4. Should send before 10th January 2016

5. It is mandatory to mail the abstracts to pigmentarycon2016@gmail.com

Abstract Format :

• Title should be in block letters, with a double space between the title of the abstract and the name of the presenter
• The title should be followed by the presenter’s name and email address
• The abstract should be typed in Times New Roman and a 12 font size
• For Free papers, Award papers and posters; the length of the abstract (excluding the title, names and affiliation) should not exceed 250 words.
• Studies should follow a structured format (Introduction, Materials and methods, results and conclusion)
• Case reports should follow a pre-designed format (Background, case synopsis and discussion)

Award and free paper presentation guidelines :

• Time allotted for presentation – 6 minutes
• The number of slides to be presented should also not exceed 14 (excluding the title, references and thank you slide) in order to ensure strict adherence to time.
• The slides should be clear and should not contain too much information which will make it more difficult for the audience to follow.
• There should not be more than 6 lines per slide and 8 words per line.
• In award paper presentation, affiliation should not be mentioned. (If not followed, it will lead to immediate disqualification of the participant)
• The patients whose photographs will be shown during the presentation; should not be identifiable.

Poster presentation

• The poster size should be 4 feet height by 3 feet width
• Font size should be readable from a distance of 1.5 meter
• The poster should not be containing too much information (as it becomes difficult for the delegates to read the material)
